BEGIN AGAIN!
CHOREOGRAPHER NOTES:
From trial and error and with the help of my students, the following
teaching hints will save you and your students much grief.
FIRST 32 CTS....before the weaves begin.
When starting the dance, they will be in a slot facing the reference
#1 PERSON who is facing them diagonally right. I tell my students to
reach out and shake right to right hands...this seems to help them
remember who their ref. person is and where they need to be at end
of 16 cts. (back to same slot) at which time they will be doing the
1/2 turning shuffles into the correct slot.
SECOND 32 CTS....the weaves in-and-out.
When they reach the section where they will be *KEEPING HANDS* and
executing the 3/4 circle turn, I make them stop and make note that this
person they are holding hands with is now their reference #2 PERSON.
At the end of the dance they must be facing in a slot and diagonally
right to this reference #2 PERSON.
I know...this all sounds a bit much, but if and when you decide to
teach this dance....you will THANK ME.
