POSITION: Open side-by-side with arms across shoulders or use a waist hold.
This dance can also be done as a couple routine in semi-closed position.

PATTERN ONE - VERSE

1	Cross-lift left foot in front of right ankle
2	Step left foot forward
3	Step right foot forward beside left foot
4	Cross-lift left foot in front of right ankle
5	Step left foot forward
6	Step right foot forward beside left foot
7	Cross-lift left foot in front of right ankle
8	Step left foot forward
9	Step right foot forward beside left foot
10	Step left foot forward
11-12	Point right toe diagonally forward to the right

13	Cross-lift right foot in front of left ankle
14	Step right foot forward
15	Step left foot forward beside right foot
16	Cross-lift right foot in front of left ankle
17	Step right foot forward
18	Step left foot forward beside right foot
19	Cross-lift right foot in front of left ankle
20	Step right foot forward
21	Step left foot forward beside right foot
22	Step right foot forward
23-24	Point left toe diagonally forward to the left

PATTERN TWO - CHORUS

13	Cross-lift left foot in front of right ankle

	Variation: In steps 2-4 man moves sideward to the right
	as woman moves sideward left in front of him to his left side

23-24	Point left toe diagonally forward to the left

NOTE: If the variation described above is danced, during the three steps,
woman crosses sideward left in front of man, returning to his right side.

Repeat Pattern One and Two until the music stops

COUPLE POSITION: In this routine, couples alternate semi-closed V position
from side to side. They also alternate between facing LOD and RLOD.
The following step description is given for the man.
Footwork is opposite for the lady.

PATTERN ONE - VERSE

1	Man cross-lifts left foot in front of right ankle
2	Man steps left foot forward
3	Man steps right foot forward beside left foot
4	Man cross-lifts left foot in front of right ankle
5	Man steps left foot forward
6	Man steps right foot forward beside left foot
7	Man cross-lifts left foot in front of right ankle
8	Man steps left foot forward
	(Couple now turns toward each other while turning to face the
	opposite direction: RLOD. They loosen the waist-hand hold to
	permit the turn.)
9	Man steps right foot (turned toward partner) forward
10	Man steps left foot (heel leading) forward LOD
	(couple is now facing reverse direction)
11-12	Man points right toe forward (RLOD)

13	Man cross-lifts right foot in front of left ankle
14	Man steps right foot forward
15	Man steps left foot forward beside right foot
16	Man cross-lifts right foot in front of left ankle
17	Man steps right foot forward
18	Man steps left foot forward beside right foot
19	Man cross-lifts right foot in front of left ankle
20	Man steps right foot forward
	(Couple now turns toward each other while turning to face the
