ONCE 'ROUND
CHOREOGRAPHER: William Sevone (WM '71) (September 18th 2002) Fremantle, Australia

COUNT: 38
TYPE: 4 Wall Line Dance
LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
MUSIC: Leavin' by Shelby Lynne-60 bpm ('I Am Shelby Lynne')
Choreographer's note: A unusual title created by the fact that this dance only
lasts the four walls or 'once around the track' and an unusual count of 38 - which
fits in nicely to end the dance facing the 'home' wall. My favouite tracks from
this album have always been 'Your Lies' (I wish I could have done a dance to this
track - but I don't think I would have ever done it justice) and (in second place)
this one. For nearly three years I have been putting off creating a dance to this
piece of music because I felt that it may have been a little too mournful and slow.
Then, early this morning and for no apparent reason I started to 'hum' the
tune....could it have been a sign - or just me being a little melancholy, whatever
the reason...here is the end result. The dance, whilst being slow does allow the
dancer to feel the mood of the words within the song and act upon it accordingly.
Dance starts on the 34th count of the intro and one count before Shelby sings
