Choreographer's note: I started to choreograph this dance to the original 1988
version by Bruce Springsteen, but at the back of my mind I was trying to remember a
(this) 'country' version that I had somewhere within my collection. About ten
minutes after finishing the dance I remembered what album it was on. Not only did
it 'fit' the dance but it felt 'softer', though the 'rough edge' wasn't there I
decided to use this version instead. I think I made the right choice. Both the
dance and music are phrased at 62 counts so therefore compliment each other.

Dance starts with the vocals with feet slightly apart and weight on right

CROSS ROCK, STEP, SIDE STEP, 1/2 RIGHT SIDE STEP, CROSS STEP, SIDE STEP, CROSS ROCK, STEP

1-2	Cross rock left behind right, Step onto right
3-4	Step left to left side, Turn 1/2 right and step right to right side
5-6	Cross step left over right, Step right to right side
7-8	Cross rock left behind right, Step onto right (6:00)

2X SIDE LUNGE-DRAG

9	(swinging arms slightly to left) Lunge left to left side
10-12	Drag right next to left over 3 counts
13	(swinging arms slightly to left) Lunge left to left side
14-16	Drag right next to left over 3 counts

1/4 LEFT-TOE TOUCH, 1/2 RIGHT-TOE TOUCH, 1/4 LEFT BACKWARD STEP, 3X STEP BACKWARD

17-18	Turn 1/4 left and short step forward onto left, Touch right toe next to left
19-20	Turn 1/2 right and short step forward onto right, Touch left toe next to right
21	Turn 1/4 left and step backward onto left
22-24	Step backward Right, Left, Right (6:00)
	Dance note: Counts 21-24: even though the steps are 'flat footed'
	the weight is on the balls of the feet
