....A LITTLE DITTY

CHOREOGRAPHER: William Sevone (WM '71) December 27th 2001, Fremantle, Australia
		email: williamsevone@yahoo.com.au
COUNT: 32
TYPE: 2 Wall Line Dance
LEVEL: Beginner/Intermediate
MUSIC: Nat King Cole Porter Wagoner Sort Of Thing by The Bum Steers-170 bpm ('The Bum Steers') ('New Country' sampler vol 3 number 6)
Sea Of Cowboy Hats by Chely Wright-150 bpm
If Your Ever Down In Dallas by Lee Ann Womack-129 bpm
All I Want Is Everything by Mindy McCready-127 bpm
These Arms by Dwight Yoakam-122 bpm
	(all start on the vocals)

Choreographer's note: As soon as I heard the opening bars of the song by
the Bum Steers it reminded me of one particular song, in fact when I
listened to it all the way through I thought....'bet I could do this
dance to that'...guess what ?...I did, and I really enjoyed it. It
sounds very, very similar, it has the same rhythm, the same counts (32)
and nearly the same bpm's of 168. So, what's the other music I hear you
shout..and shout you will, when I tell you..it's a track called "Rock And
Roll" by Led Zeppelin.
So all you 'hard rock' (n' roller) linedancers' can now 'come out'. So
pull back the curtains and prove to the world that you can listen to Lep
Zep and line dance at the same time..is that a 'stairway to heaven' or
what? One problem though, I haven't allowed for any 'air guitar'
movements...sorry. I must however tell you now, that this is a
particularly fast and tight dance..and could leave you gasping for more
or out of breath, whatever comes first. I would suggest that a slower
piece of music is used for teaching or if you prefer, on a more permanent
basis (suggestions above) before the 'Bum Steers' is released on the
unsuspecting dancer.

Finally, to all those who reckon I have now totally lost the plot....you
could be right - maybe, but I'm havin' a heck of a lot of fun whilst
doin' it...are you?
