Variations: The above dance description is the 'advanced beginning' level -
to perform the 'beginning level' version exchange the shuffle pattern with
a single step and hold for two beats (The Cha Cha pattern turns into a
Bossa Nova Pattern). To perform the dance at the 'advanced level' would be
to add an additional full turn to the 1/4 turns in Steps #1 - #4, add a full
turn to the shuffle in Step #6 and add a full turn to beats 3 and 4 in steps
#7 and #8.

Suggested Dance Style: Perform the dance exactly how it is titled 'Laid Back!!"

Suggested Songs / Types Of Songs:
Laid Back was originally choreographed as a Christmas Bossa Nova line dance
to Holly Dunn's version of Feliz Navidad.
Any normal slow cha cha rhythms will do nicely to learn the dance, but
Laid Back is best performed at Latin and laid back tempos ranging from
34MPM/136BPM - 40MPM/160BPM

Comments: Even though Laid Back is a rather simple dance, adding all the
variations (spins) could cause the dance to become disoriented. Be careful
not to spin into another dancer. The preferred tempo the choreographer
likes to perform the dance to is around 38MPM/152BPM.
